Over the summer I got the chance to go to Mexico. While there, I went to an amazing city called Merida. The first night in Merida Liliana, Olgster, Ceceilia and I were walking throught the Centro when we saw a bunch of guys break dancing. We were obviously interested in this so we went to watch them. After they got done dancing some of them came over to talk to us. The first one I talked to was about 5'2'' and probably the most adorable guy I'd ever seen. After we got a picture taken together he told me he had facebook and that I should add him. Once we got back to the hotel, I used Liliana's iPod to add him. Soon after he accepted my friend request he started to inbox me and chat with me. He's always saying things like, "Eras la mas hermosa," "Te kiero mucho," "Eres la mas linda," and "Quisiera verte otra vez." Senorita was definately right when she said that guys from Mexico are charmers! I would really like to go back to Mexico next summer to see Jose and the city again but that's a lot of money. I've asked Jose to come to Iowa a few times but he doesn't have a visa. Carra triste. I get really confused when he uses short hand words like, "kiero," "ttqqmm" and "porfa" There's no doubt that talking to Jose has helped my Spanish speaking skills. I've learned a lot of new words and I get a lot of use out of all the different tenses.
